CMM Machine

Measuring Range
The maximum size of the workpiece the CMM can measure, expressed in X, Y, and Z axes (e.g., 1000 mm × 1200 mm × 800 mm).
Accuracy (MPEE – Maximum Permissible Error)
Indicates how precise the machine is, often in microns (e.g., ±2.0 µm + L/300).
Repeatability
The ability to produce the same measurement consistently, often within a few microns.
Probing System
The type of probe used (touch-trigger probe, scanning probe, laser, or vision system), which affects speed and precision.
Speed & Acceleration

Our paint and powder coat facilities are built to handle large-scale projects while delivering precision, consistency, and lasting performance. The abrasive blast room (16’ x 40’) ensures surfaces are properly prepared for maximum adhesion, while our paint room (18’ x 40’) allows us to apply protective coatings in a controlled environment. For even greater durability, our powder coating system accommodates parts up to 10’ x 10’ x 15’, giving your equipment and components a professional finish that stands up to heavy use and harsh conditions.

BIG B’s engineering department utilizes the most up to date versions of Solidworks, Mastercam and Admac. This enables Big B to help you in all your design needs from start to finish. We can reverse engineer the parts that you may not have prints too. We have full CMM capabilities. Our engineering staff is available to go on location and take all the measurements needed and give you options to complete your project in the most efficient way possible.
